January Update: The Bonded Re-Release
Date:1/5/2025
Time sure flies when you're deep in the social-frenzy months that are the holiday season. This year, it was decided that my boyfriend and I would say yes to any social invite that came our way, which was both excellent and exhausting. Will we do this again this year? I have my doubts, but it was fun to experiment where the boundaries of our social limits were. It was also exhausting. Did I mention it was exhausting?
Not only was there a vast increase in the amount of social events happening, but I was also deep into editing mode as I edited, and rewrote, and expanded on the first book in the Allseer Trilogy. Did it need it? Maybe not, but I feel it is in a much better place than it was before. I'll be giving the Cursed and the Fated the same treatment before I finally leave the series to live out the rest of its days without my interference.
The second book in the Allseer trilogy, The Cursed, should be quick to follow and I'm guessing I will have the new files ready to upload along with the new cover within the next week or two.
Outside of that, I have been hard at work on a new project that I plan on using to query later this year. While I have been happy self-publishing, it is a goal of mine to see at least one series traditionally published and will be starting the hunt for an agent once this manuscript is ready.
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and a good start to the new year. I would be lying if I said I wasn't apprehensive about the future in many ways, but what is one to do but keep moving along through life. Until next time, enjoy this picture of Gizmo being adorable and cooperative.

October Update: Book Covers

Date:10/20/24
Ah, October! October has long been my favorite month, a time when we start to see a reprieve from the summer heat and it’s still light enough that my winter depression hasn’t yet kicked into overdrive. October also showed up in life this year much quicker than anticipated. I felt like I blinked and suddenly the leaves were changing, and I was hastily digging through my closet to find my favorite jacket and extra blankets for the cold nights.
I blame this complete lack of regard for the changing of the seasons solely on the fact that I have been very, very busy. Between programming projects, the tedium of my full-time job, and squeezing writing in when I have the chance to do so, I haven’t had much time to just enjoy life. With that said, I have been making good progress on a number of projects I have in the works, including the finalized covers for the Allseer Trilogy. Progress with editing is going really well and I’m about to dive into edits for the final book in the trilogy. After that, I’ll be cleaning up the print versions and getting those ready to go so keep an eye out for more information about that in the near future!
Without further ado, here are the new covers for the Allseer Trilogy! These might undergo some small tweaks before release, but I’m very happy with the overall look and feel. I wanted to honor the color scheme of the original covers but also keep them fresh and interesting and I think I was able to find that balance with these. I can't wait to see these in print but will have to wrestle with the question - matte or glossy?
The Great Rewrite of 2024

Date: 8/18/24
2024 has been quite a year, and an exhausting one at that. It seems like time is just hurtling by with absolutely no hope of stopping it. Between working a full time job and learning programming in my off hours, I've had very little time to dedicate to the thing I love the most - writing! However, one can only ignore the siren song of a word processor for so long and I've been slowly chipping away a little time to give my original trilogy a little love. The Allseer Trilogy released more years ago than I am willing to admit and is in dire need of an update.
That update is coming in the form of a rewrite of all three books. No major changes are happening as far as the plot of the books are concerned, but I am cleaning up dialogue and expanding on a scene here and there. And to top it all off, the entire trilogy will be getting fresh new covers!
I'm hoping to finish editing and finalizing the new covers by the end of the year and should have a cover reveal within the next month or two and the edits done not long after.
